Our Mission
The Archdiocese of Calicut exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by fostering a vibrant community of faith, worship, and service. Rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church and guided by the Holy Spirit, we are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of all God’s people through the celebration of the sacraments, evangelization, catechesis, and pastoral care.
Inspired by the example of Christ, we strive to uphold human dignity, promote justice and peace, and extend compassionate service to the poor, the marginalized, and those in need. Through our ministries in education, healthcare, social welfare, family life, youth formation, and community development, we seek to build a society founded on truth, love, solidarity, and hope.
United with the Universal Church and under the pastoral leadership of the Metropolitan Archbishop, we dedicate ourselves to forming missionary disciples who witness to Christ in every sphere of life and actively participate in the mission of building the Kingdom of God.
