CHILD PROTECTION POLICY IN THE DIOCESE OF CALICUT

We have a Child protection policy in the Diocese as per the guidelines of the Catholic Bishops Council of India, in tune with the General Guidelines given by the Holy See. We are also following the guidelines given by the Kerala Catholic Bishop’s Council. We have formed a team headed by the Diocesan Bishop for this very purpose of Safe Environment for the Child Protection Policy. Regular meetings and evaluations are held to evaluate the progress of the team work.  The members do visit the parishes to coordinate the activities.
