Seminar on the Encyclical Letter Magnifica Humanitas of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV

The Archdiocese of Calicut, is organizing a seminar on the Encyclical Letter _Magnifica Humanitas_ of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV on Saturday, 25 July 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Mother of God Cathedral, Calicut Parish Hall.

The seminar aims to deepen participants’ understanding of the Holy Father’s vision on the dignity of the human person, Christian fraternity, and the Church’s mission in today’s world. It will offer an opportunity for clergy, religious, lay leaders, and the faithful to reflect on the key themes of the encyclical and their relevance to contemporary society.

The sessions will be led by His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Varghese Chakkalakal, Archbishop of Calicut, and Very Rev. Msgr. Jenson Puthenveettil, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Calicut.

All priests, religious, and lay faithful are warmly invited to participate in this enriching seminar and rediscover “the beauty of being human, in the light of faith and the call to fraternal responsibility.”
